Review for Rebel Gage by Elyssa EbbottRebel Gage is the third book in the Shifters of Primus series by Elyssa Ebbott. You don't have to read the first two books in order to fall in love with Gage and Aria, but they definitely set the stage. Plus, the books are phenomenal, so why miss out?!
Action, sexy aliens, adventure, sexy aliens, romance, sexy aliens -- the Shifters of Primus has is all. Did I mention sexy aliens? Well, Gage definitely falls under that label! It was impossible to put this book down, I had to know if he was going to get his happily ever after, or if his past would prove to be too much to overcome.
Then there is Aria, she's so fiercely loyal. Everything she does is for others. When she meets Gage and they have this crazy hot attraction to each other, she pushes him away thinking how selfish it is for her to give in when she's got a mission to fulfill. That push and pull between the two kept things spicy hot and full of angst.
I really, really want to talk to someone about the whole 'shifter' side of this book. It's <i>killing</i> me to not explain how and why that piece of the book makes it a step above the rest, but it does! Really, really does. Ebbott didn't just step outside of the box when it comes to 'shifter' romance, she jumped, leaped, and bounded into an area that is just <i>not</i> done.
Of the three books, Rebel Gage is by far my favorite. If you like sci-fi romance you need this series in your life. Five Stars and Four Wet Panties.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun beach book. I've read this author before and she does not disappoint. I like that it's part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. The story moved along well and I was never bored. Definitely adding more of these books to my TBR pile!
Every book contains plenty of action and surprises for the main characters and their story. Keeping you glued to the pages! I'm SO RECOMMENDING THAT YOU HAVE THIS SERIES OF ELYSSA EBBOTT!! Worth it!! So join me in reading this wonderfully charismatic series!👏👏👏👏🍵🍷📖📝📚😘💟😍🔟🔟🔟🔟🔟
This is one bada$$ hero with his own way of seeing the world and thinking which gave me tons of fun while reading. Lots of character building, action and story progression in this story arc. What can I say, Gage is a hired assassin who ends up having a heart of gold and ends up protecting those he was sent to eliminate. I really liked the story and can hardly wait for the next installment.
So this book totally sold me on this series (I started here, went to the first, and am going to read the second now). I was in the mood for a sci fi romance read and this fit the bill. Strong characters, a building world, stand alone story set in a world with an over arching story line that keeps a connection between the books, but that still can be read alone (like I said I started here). A definite author to watch!
I just finished reading this book and I can say that it did keep me entertained for a while, the only part that I was not happy with was when Aria was being dumb about how she felt for the hero, I really don't like it when the heroine acts dumb it turns me off, so this is why 4 and not 5. I have read some of the other stories and they were good per my idea, anyways thank you for your story, keep writing you do a good job.
I received an ARC for an honest review. This is the third book in the Shifters of Primus series. Gage is an assassin, but a former Prince. He was sent to kill all humans on board the shuttle that is trying to stop the theft of the Chysalis, an artifact.that could lead to war. Once he boards the shuttle he is bewitched by Aria's beauty and knows she is his true mate. He is now protecting everyone on board. Aria is sassy and feisty, a fit mate to a warrior. Gage is a gorgeous, sexy, purple alien warrior. Their attraction is immediate. The story is full of passion, intrigue, violence, and romance. Enjoy the whirlwind.

Loved it! I adore great action and adventure reads, completely smitten with science fiction and love, love, love romance so when I can find the perfect blend of all three, I'm in heaven. And that's exactly what Elyssa Ebbott has delivered with Rebel Gage, the third release in her popular new Shifters of the Primus series. I'm always on the lookout for a great sci-fi romance so when I happened upon Rebel Kato, the first book of this series, I was intrigued. A few days later, I discovered Ebbott had released Rebel Pax, the second book in her Shifters of the Primus Series. I truly enjoyed the first book so I was quick to try the second and so glad I did! I was hooked! And now Ebbott has really upped the ante with the third book of the series, Rebel Gage, which has more danger, more action, more suspense, more plot twists, more romance and well....more everything! Shifters of the Primus is a truly imaginative science fiction romance series featuring the last survivors of humanity who have been traveling space for many years trying to find a habitable planet to call home. Almost out of fuel and resources, hope is renewed by the discovery of Markul, a strange alien planet inhabited by several different tribes of dangerous shifters. And WOW! These aliens are definitely not your run of the mill shifters! Hubba! Hubba! Each book features a different Primus male and human female finding their very own happy ending and can be read as a standalone. But since quite a few of the characters from the earlier books make an appearance in each subsequent story, I highly recommend reading all the books in order. If you love action-packed sci-fi romance with a paranormal twist, I'm sure it's one decision you'll never regret. I found this story to be a well-crafted, fast-paced, refreshing read with an intriguing hero and heroine, an engaging cast of characters, a few surprising plot twists, lots of action, sassy humor, snappy dialogue, sweet romance and steamy sex. The narrative is very nicely written in the third person with primary perspectives from the two protagonists, handsome rough and rowdy Primus dragon shifter and dangerous Spectre agent, Gage aka Reaper, and beautiful introverted former human seamstress and now field medic, Aria. I was immediately drawn into the story by the interaction of these characters who on the surface seem so different but in reality, have more in common than they could ever dream. Heck, I was even fascinated by Admiral Gaius, the villain of the story. He's one creepy dude! Hands down, my favorite book so far! This is one story you can really sink your teeth into! Did I like it? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet but only for adult readers since it does contain some steamy dreamy love scenes! Will I read this author again? Absolutely! As a matter of fact, immediately after finishing the first book of the series, I signed up for Ebbott's newsletter so I would never miss her next release! And finally, was I entertained? Totally! I laughed, snickered and found myself cheering for both the hero and heroine. This is a relatively easy to follow, quick read but it does pack quite a wallop! In my reviews of the previous two release of the series, I made the comment that you never doubt the boy will get the girl. Well, in this book, I had to eat my words. Ebbott certainly gave me pause....I was really beginning to wonder if our hero and heroine would find their happy ending. But spoiler alert.....they do! And once again Ebbott gives us a fun, sexy imaginative romp as our two unlikely lovers stumble their way through impossible odds to find their happy ever after. Handsome, dangerous Primus Spectre agent who is little more than a trained mercenary assassin with an uncontrollable beast-check! Beautiful, plucky heroine trying to save her mom-check! A dangerous, evil human admiral trying to take over the planet-check! A talking sex-pot gun that will make you giggle, and yes, I said gun as in weapon-check! Danger, drama, betrayal, action, angst, evil machinations and loads of alien technology-double check! Heated attraction, fiery passion, dreamy romance and steamy sex-you bet! That and a whole lot more!Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!
